A Getaway, Free Stuff, and a Fire
Last week was a whirlwind of excitement and again I am linking up with Doodlebug’s Teaching with my own “Five for Friday” recap. On a Tuesday nonetheless. It’s all good. I like reflecting on the week, even if it is late.
Last Sunday I posted a how to for creating mini books with your students.
Second is an activity that was new to me – using magnifying glasses to light paper on fire! I think it proved a memorable activity about the power of the sun. A teammate shared this activity with me and I am glad she did!
Third is my favorite post from last week – a bunch (nine to be exact) of FREE thank you card designs!
Fourth up is my teacher feature from last week – Darren Fix of Science Fix. (If you have a teacher you think I should feature, let me know.) I love being inspired by other teachers!
Last is my reason for not posting as much the past few days – I was on a girl’s getaway in the mountains! I went with my mom and possible sister-in-law to be. This was my first all girl vacation and it was the BEST TIME! We already have another girl’s getaway planned!
I only have one week left of school. My students will be writing thank you cards and helping me clean/organize. What are your end of the year plans?
