Teacher Feature: Paul Anderson of Bozeman Science
Paul Anderson is high school science teacher with 19+ years of experience. He is also the brainchild behind Bozeman Science. (Bozeman is the name of the high school where Paul teaches science, in case you wondered – like me – the origin of the name Bozeman Science.)
This site is intended for high school science teachers, but it is useful for science teachers of any level. This is because the video content on this site is great for teachers who need to brush up on topics. The videos are also great resources for students both in and out of your classroom.
The subject areas with videos include:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- AP Biology
- AP Chemistry
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Earth Science
- Physics
- Statistics & Graphing
Here are the main reasons I heart Bozeman Science.
- The Science Subject Videos – They are also on YouTube!
- The Ted Talk – How to “Game-ify” Your Instruction
- The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) Video Series – A must watch for teachers!
If you haven’t been to Bozeman Science before, I’ll go ahead and say it now – you are welcome!
P.S. How does he manage to find time to create all of these videos? I mean, there aren’t just a couple, there are hundreds. He doesn’t sleep. Cue teacher jealousy of time management skills. I’ll go back to playing Candy Crush. (Don’t click the link – I’m serious.)
