Birthdays, Blogging, Vegas, and St. Patrick’s Day
Again my week was choppy due to snow days. Monday – school, Tuesday – no school due to snow, Wednesday – school, Thursday – no school due to snow, Friday – Late start due to snow, and SATURDAY – snow makeup day. I am happy to report that 93% of my students came on Saturday!
I am opening my home here at Mrs.Harris Teaches for guest bloggers. If you are interested, first you are super awesome, and second please fill out this survey.
I had a milestone birthday this past week. I think thirty looks good on me :).
I seriously spoiled myself with a new camera for my birthday – a Nikon D7100. I love photography and I’ve owned a Nikon D90 (bought used off eBay) for the past 5 years. This was an exorbitant purchase for me. I did buy the body only version refurbished AND on sale through Adorama since it is compatible with my current lenses.
I’m seriously thinking of going to the TeachersPayTeachers conference in Vegas this summer. Should I do it? (I’ve never been to Vegas!) The early bird rate ends a week from today.
In honor of the impending St.Patrick’s Day, I have a freebie printable. I generally don’t celebrate holidays with my high-schoolers, but I like a little green something on hand to curtail any pinching :).
Here is Version 1 and here is Version 2.
Again, here is Version 1 and here is Version 2 in .jpg filetypes. You can get different file types for free at my TeachersPayTeachers Store.
