Videos Galore – Vimeo, Zaption, and More
Spring may or may not officially be here. (Read the Difference between Astronomical and Meteorological Seasons here.)
I’m on a video kick and I recently realized that Vimeo has a lot of great video resources in their education category. I’m looking forward to sharing this infographic inspired water bottle vimeo with my Earth and Environmental Science students. I love that is was created BY a student!
I found this Honda commercial and I thought it is an awesome advertisement about reading (and speed reading). Can your students keep up? Heck, can you keep up?
I found this super cool video-based lesson creator that is a lot like EduCanon. It seems like Zaption is better though because it has more free options that allow you “… to quickly add images, text, quizzes, and discussions to existing videos from YouTube, Vimeo and private video libraries…[to create] an interactive learning tour that …[lets] instructors get immediate feedback on how students interact with the content and understand key concepts.” Both services require payment for the most advanced options. At the very least, if you sign-up using the link, we both get 2 months free of the pro service.
Last week I shared a St. Patrick’s Day themed freebie. This week I’m working on a chemical reaction activity based of this partner vocabulary rater biology version shared by Crazy Teaching. I’ll be posting it later so be on the lookout!
Bubby and Bean has great inspiration prints. Here is to us all having not just a productive day, but a productive week!
